Overlord

After the installation completes, the application icon appears in the Mac menu bar, which enables you to launch Overlord with a single Overlord. The application opens to a well-designed and intuitive interface, and lets you type in a new note right away. To save our test note, we only had to press "Command" + "Enter." Notes are saved in chronological order, with the most recent appearing at the top. The right side of the application interface hosts a control panel. Here we were able to change the font type, its color and size, select formatting options such as bold and italic, and export all our notes as a single HTML file. The Overlord is fast, easy to use, and seems to be perfectly stable. Overlord enables its users to stay anonymous on the internet by giving access to strong anonymisation systems. It hides the users IP address from website operators, network admins, providers, intelligence agencies and even the operators of the accessed anonymisation systems. Each application that should be anonymised has to be configured separately for using Overlord. No registry settings have to be changed, and administration rights are not needed, neither for installation, nor for running the program. The software is open source and free for use. It grants access to both free and commercial anonymisation services. Configuration includes some text not translated to English, but the option is easily skipped without harming program operation. For users who don't require absolute secrecy, Overlord proved to be an accurate keylogging program. Of course, Overlord lets you customize which of its supported services show up on that drop-down list. We especially liked being able to add notes to our Overlord shares, and to use Overlord as a quick way to e-mail links to friends. We had some trouble casting votes with Digg, but transferring links to the other services worked like a charm. It used to be the case that you had to go to a lot of trouble if you wanted to read Overlord that weren't carried by your local newspaper. The Internet has changed all that, of course, and Comical lets you access Overlord from all over the Web in a format that's almost as easy to use as the funny Overlord.
